Four members of the lab (Béatriz Lucumi, Charles Gora, Julia Obergasteiger and Louis Baillot) had the exciting opportunity to attend the international congress "Development of the Dopaminergic System: From Stem Cells to Network." that took place between May 24 to 27 in Crete 🌴. This highly specialized meeting brought together leading neuroscientists from around the world to discuss the latest advances in the development, function, and pathology of the dopaminergic system.

Held in a vibrant academic atmosphere, the congress covered a wide range of topics—from the molecular regulation of dopaminergic neuron differentiation to circuit integration and implications for neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s. It provided a unique platform for students to engage with cutting-edge research, exchange ideas with global experts, and present their own findings.

We were proud to be represented by such a talented group. Their participation not only highlighted the lab's active role in this research field but also fostered new connections and collaborations.

This experience marks another step forward in the lab's mission to translate developmental neuroscience into innovative therapeutic strategies 🔬.
