Biography
Martin obtained his doctorate in neurobiology at Laval University in 2006, under the supervision of André Parent. He did a postdoctoral internship at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute (IRCM) from 2006 to 2008, in the laboratory of Frédéric Charron. He then did a second postdoctoral internship at the National Institute for Medical Research, in London from 2008 to 2011, in the laboratory of Slew-Lan Ang. Pr. Lévesque has accumulated awards and distinctions during his successful career. He established his laboratory in 2012, and now supervises more than a dozen students. He is also director of the Integrative Neurosciences and Experimental Therapies Axis of the CERVO Research Center, as well as the master's and doctoral programs in neuroscience at Laval University.
